School Mission Statement

Cedarcrest-Southmoor Elementary enables each child to reach their highest potential through positive relationships with families and our diverse community.  We strive to provide a multi-media approach to 21st century learning, through a safe, supportive environment that promotes self-discipline, motivation, and academic excellence.  We nurture and produce skilled individuals to compete in a global community.

 


 

Special Programs

 Our School is a host site for Scholastic Academy and Gifted Resource. We also offer before and after school Extended Day Care for our working parents. For more information, you can contact our school at 293-9950.


 

 

At Cedarcrest, bullying is not tolerated. Bullying- repeated verbal, physical, social or psychological behavior that is harmful and involves the misuse of power by an individual or group towards another. If you feel threatened, find an adult that you can tell to help you.  Our task force consists of the PBIS team, Mr. Smith, Mrs. Robinson and student representative Corrine Robinson.
