Cedarcrest-Southmoor Elementary is currently the only elementary school in East Baton Rouge Parish that is TAP School. TAP stands for Teacher Advancement Program. Cedarcrest-Southmoor has been recognized nationally by the Teacher Advancement program as being a model school for how a TAP instructionally focused model should look.
